My First Wedding

After doing the Bellydance Day 2004 event I had someone call me, having seen a hennaee, needing henna for her daughter's wedding. What an event! In a two day period I hennaed for about 8-10 hours and slept for about 7, dreaming about hennaing for most of those 7! It was great fun, confidence boosting, creating and restoring and since I got invited to the wedding as well, it was a welcome cultural learning experience and I made friends for the weekend. Who could ask for more?? (Well... I could have done with some more jalebi, chicken curry and more of the mukhwas.. a *lot* more of the jalebi...) These designs come from a couple of Navneet books and one other book that I don't yet have the titles on. [Book info forthcoming soon!] Some of the designs were copied exactly, others were *inspired* from the pages. These are not original designs.
